Spring Learning Cafe

Dear KLSD Community,

This is a reminder of our spring Learning Café: Considering the Phone-Based Childhood. At this café, we will discuss the ideas of social psychologist, author, and NYU professor Johnathan Haidt. Mr. Haidt recently published an article in the The Atlantic titled “End the Phone-Based Childhood Now – The environment in which kids grow up today is hostile to human development.”

The café takes place on Wednesday, April 17, at 7:00 pm in the John Jay Middle School dining room. All are welcome. We simply ask that you RSVP and you can do so at this link. If you plan to join us, please reply no later than Monday, April 15, 2024.

As a reminder, our Learning Cafés are opportunities for community-wide dialogue. If you choose to attend, please expect to participate in several conversations with other members of our community, including staff.
