The Board of Education believes its primary responsibility should focus on creating an educational environment that will help our students become knowledgeable individuals, problem-solvers, quality producers, effective communicators, wholesome individuals, collaborative workers, ethical individuals, life-long learners, and responsible, accepting and involved citizens.
We remain committed to providing a high quality, well-balanced educational program that supports our faculty and staff and helps our students meet and exceed State standards as well as high district goals.

In May 2007, the community voted to establish the office of Student Board Member, a non-voting member of the Board of Education, who may sit with and participate with the Board of Education at all public meetings, except executive sessions, effective July 1, 2007.
