Celebrating Sustainability at Katonah-Lewisboro Schools
This annual gathering brings students and the community together to celebrate ways we use less energy, create less waste, and learn more about caring for the earth and each other.
The event is organized by Melissa Brady, staff developer for STREAM and sustainability, and Jane Emig and Jim Panzer, sustainability curriculum integration leaders.

The JJMS Green Team is hosting a John Jay Spirit Wear and Gear Exchange during the annual KLSD Sustainability Celebration.
We are asking community members to donate clean, outgrown or unwanted school spirit wear and sports gear to exchange with others in our community.
Clothing and Gear will be collected ahead of the April 16th event. You can drop donations at the middle school during the weeks of March 25-28 and April 8-12. Students and families will have the chance to “shop the swap” on April 16th! Questions? Email mbrady@klschools.org

The BOE Sustainability Committee is holding a Plant & Seed Exchange during the annual Sustainability Celebration.
We are asking community members to donate propagated plants, extra plants, and seeds collected from their gardens to exchange with others in our community.
Plants and seeds will be collected ahead of the April 16th event. You can drop plants off to your local elementary school during the weeks of March 25-28 and April 8-12.
Families will have the chance to pick a plant during the celebration to take home and also to plant seeds to watch grow!
