Six Athletes Commit to College Play
Six outstanding athletes, their coaches, families and some of their closest fans gathered in the John Jay gym to celebrate their next step in their athletic careers.
It was National Letter of Intent Signing Day, when athletes who have verbal offers from college coaches make their athletic scholarships official by signing their National Letter of Intent. Athletic Director Christian McCarthy and coach/teacher Steve DelMoro created a celebration full of photo opps and fun.
“I can’t tell you how proud I am of you and what our female athletes have accomplished in this community!” McCarthy said to the student-athletes.
