Superintendent's Update: Budget Vote 2018-2019

Dear KLSD Community,
On behalf of the Board of Education and all of us who work in the District, I’d like to thank you for the support you showed us with this week’s School Budget Vote.
The official numbers from the vote are as follows:
- Proposition 1 (the budget): 728 yes - 320 no
- Proposition 2 (buses): 751 yes - 296 no
In addition, Marjorie Schiff will return as a trustee on the Board of Education and we welcome new trustee Terrence Cheng.
As we move forward, we will continue striving to provide the best possible educational experience for every student, while remaining fiscally responsible to the entire community.
