Max the Moose Visits to Talk about Classroom Break Space

When everyone at the Pond comes together for monthly assemblies, it’s always super exciting—and even more so when Max the Moose comes to visit!

He popped into Meadow Pond Elementary’s recent Community Meeting to talk to students about the Moose Meadow, the comfy sitting area in each classroom specially designed as a calming break space.

"The Moose Meadow is an area in each classroom that is a positive, respectful, and supportive safe space for a child to go to when they feel their emotions are running high and they need to regain their emotional and/or physical control," said Principal Ashlyn Field. "The Moose Meadow consists of a comfy bean bag, Moose Meter posters, and other fidgets and calming tools."

And, the Moose Moolah design contest winner was announced!
