Making Snow with Markers

Days before the nor'easter brought two feet of snow to South Salem and surrounding towns, Meadow Pond Elementary School students were creating snow. They used pencil, crayons and markers to design one-of-kind snowflakes, exploring what what they had learned about line and shape with art teacher Gina Romero. "I am amazed at their talent and enthusiasm," said Mrs. Romero.
