Documentary Film Festival
Team Perspective held a documentary film festival in the middle school library. It featured short films the sixth graders had created about famous figures such as Harry Houdini, Pele, and Marco Polo. The sixth graders were not only film makers, they were film critics, too. They filled out feedback forms on iPads noting each film ‘s presentation of biographical info, character insights, and challenges overcome.
“I like what I’m seeing,” said English language arts teacher Mark Grossman. “Good writing is holding each documentary together.”
