Congratulations, Assistant Principal Catherine Graybosch!

Catherine Graybosch was appointed Assistant Principal of John Jay Middle School at Katonah-Lewisboro School District’s April 19, 2022, Board of Education meeting.

“We are confident that Catherine will continue her student-centered and inclusive approach to leadership and modeling of classroom instruction,” said Jeffrey Swiatowicz, principal of John Jay Middle School. “I look forward to Catherine joining Assistant Principal Monica Bermiss and me in her new role as Assistant Principal effective July 1, 2022.

Graybosch has been a Staff Developer at Katonah-Lewisboro School District for the past three years, working closely with administration and teachers on pedagogy and many curriculum initiatives connected to inclusivity and equity. During the 2021-22 school year, Graybosch has also been one of the District’s Curriculum Integration Leaders supporting work in the areas of Equity and Social Emotional Learning. 

Before joining Katonah-Lewisboro, she was the Library Media Specialist and the Department Head of Media and Information Technology at Great Neck Public Schools.

Graybosch holds a Master of Arts in Library and Information Sciences from Long Island University and an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Prior to that she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Concordia College,
