John Jay's Science Research students win at WESEF

On Saturday, March 15, fourteen Science Research seniors and one Science Research junior competed at the Westchester/Putnam  Science and Engineering Fair.

"It was an exciting day for the students who truly enjoyed presenting their work to the scientists judging the posters," said Ann Marie Lipinsky, AP Biology and Science Research teacher at John Jay High School. "Dr. Burke, Mr. Carleton, Mrs. Riordan and I are all very proud of our students."

Westchester/Putnam  Science & Engineering Fair

  The Westchester/Putnam  Science & Engineering Fair (WESEF) encourages students to participate in hands on science by providing a forum for showcasing the outstanding research of high school students in Westchester & Putnam counties of New York State and sponsoring the top students from the fair to advance to the INTEL International Science & Engineering Fair.
