Katonah-Lewisboro Schools Honored for Communications

Katonah-Lewisboro Schools won three Publications and Digital Media awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) in its annual competition.

The district won an Award of Merit for Katonah-Lewisboro News, the electronic newsletter that goes to parents, staff and community members. In addition, District Communications Specialist Lenore Person received two Awards of Excellence in the Excellence-in-Writing category for stories on the science research program and the new wind turbines on the high school/middle school campus.

NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Awards recognize outstanding education publications, e-newsletters, digital media programs, social media, websites and more. The competition is open to public and private schools nationwide.

“There’s always plenty of good news to share when you have such talented and dedicated students, faculty and staff,” said Superintendent Andrew Selesnick. “We are pleased to be recognized for our efforts, and thrilled to celebrate the fine work of our communications specialist, Lenore Person.”
