SEPTO presentation

The talk will explore ideas and terminology centered around disability in today’s society from a disabled activist and historian's perspective.
 
Morris is a native of South Salem, NY,  and 2008 alumna of the Katonah-Lewisboro School District. She is a final year PhD researcher at Teesside University focusing on disability during the Hellenistic/Ptolemaic Periods in ancient Egypt and Greece. 
 
She has an MA in Museum Studies from New York University, and an MA in Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations (Egyptology) from the University of Pennsylvania. She has cerebral palsy and dyspraxia.
