Welcome Christopher Nelson, Director of Technology

 Christopher Nelson, Director of Technology Christopher Nelson has been appointed Director of Technology for the Katonah-Lewisboro School District by the Board of Education and will begin in District on February 1. He brings significant experience in the director’s role. In addition, he has been a classroom teacher at the high school level and has worked in the private technology sector. 

 “Christopher impressed us both with his knowledge of educational technology infrastructure and with his personal approach and commitment to supporting the work of students and teachers,” said Superintendent of Schools Andrew Selesnick.  

Nelson is currently the Director of Student Achievement and Instructional Technologies in the Sewanhaka Central School District in Floral Park, NY. Prior to that, he was Director of Instructional Technologies, Libraries and Computer Services in the North Syracuse Central School District.

"I am thrilled to be part of the Katonah-Lewisboro team,” said Nelson. “I look forward to supporting digital age learning, creating technology-rich learning environments, and leading the transformation of the educational landscape. I am excited to prepare our classrooms for a constantly evolving technological landscape and supporting all students to leverage technology by taking an active role in choosing, achieving, and demonstrating competency in their learning goals.”
