Recycling Matters

The students of Meadow Pond Elementary School's Recycling Matters Club collected 1,232 bottles and cans this school year! They made enough money to purchase breakfast items for fifteen homeless men at a local emergency shelter.

Next up for the club: a winter clothing drive and collecting gently used DVDs, CDs, and Blu-ray discs which will be distributed through the Community Center of Northern Westchester.
